A supercomputer has predicted a flawless start to the Premier League season for Manchester United.
According to new analysis collated by BetVictor, United are predicted to kick off their campaign with a bang against Fulham on Friday night. The data indicates that Erik ten Hag’s squad will secure a favourable outcome against the Cottagers, based on their track record in previous opening day fixtures.
United have won 21 of their 32 opening day matches, averaging an impressive 2.16 points-per-game (PPG). They’ve only been handed defeat five times during this period, with six draws also recorded.
Chelsea follow closely behind with a 2.13 PPG average from their last 32 top-flight opening day games, boasting 20 victories, eight draws and just four losses. However, this record will be put to the ultimate test when they face reigning champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
