After over two months of searching for a new head coach for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has finally appointed Bruno Labbadia for the job.

2. Playing Career: Labbadia played as a striker for eight different clubs throughout his career, including Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, and 1. FC Köln. He also made two appearances for the German national team.
3. Scoring Record: During his playing career, Labbadia scored 103 goals in 328 Bundesliga games. He scored 50 goals for Arminia Bielefeld and 44 goals for his hometown club, Darmstadt 98. His most prolific season came in 1998-1999, where he scored 29 goals for Arminia Bielefeld.
