Former Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, is on the shortlist to become the next England manager.
The Football Association are looking around for a new head coach despite Lee Carsley’s fine outing in two UEFA Nations League fixtures.
Carsley, who was brought in on an interim basis, took charge of the 2-0 wins over the Republic and Finland.
England impressed in both matches, their first since Gareth Southgate ended his eight-year tenure.
But the Daily Telegraph reports that the FA are not ruling out bringing in someone else when Carsley’s interim spell ends in November.
