Three Brazilian football players, Daniel Cross, Lucas Barros, and Lucas Padilha, were killed in a bus crash while en route to a championship game in Rio de Janeiro. The team, which was also captaining the U20s national team, was set to play in the American football championship.
The accident occurred on the way to the game, and the injured were being treated in a hospital. The Coritiba Crocodiles expressed their deep regret for the tragedy and mourned the loss of Lucas Barros.
