Former Barcelona star and President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o, has been captured acknowledging a former teammate who now allegedly works as a security guard.

In a video shared via the X handle of a news platform, ED HUB, Eto’o, surrounded by fans and attendees, was leaving the venue of an Ecobank Group seminar in Douala, Cameroon, when someone off-screen called out his name.

He first glanced at it before continuing, but then he paused, turned around, and saw it was an old friend.

Eto’o’s expression brightened in recognition as the man, wearing a security uniform, entered the picture.

After exchanging pleasantries with his old friend in Bassa’a, a Cameroonian dialect, the Cameroonian legend turned to the crowd gathered around them, saying, “He was my colleague. I played with him.”
