Game-used Michael Jordan "Dream Team" jersey auctions for $3 Million USD

Michael Jordan‘s 1992 Olympic “Dream Team” No. 9 jersey has sold for $3,030,000 million USD at Goldin Auctions.

The apparel is a game-used, photo-matched and inscribed white jersey from Team USA’s semifinal round against Lithuania on August 6, 1992, when MJ scored a total of 21 points with four assists and three rebounds. Measuring at size 46 from Champion, the jersey is also signed by Jordan on the upper left chest area with a black marker.

The lot is part of the “Dream Team Collection” gathered by Karl Malone, who was also a member of Team USA for the 1992 Olympics, and joins game-used jerseys and shoes from the likes of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson and Malone himself…
