Senator Kalu confirmed failed attempts to unseat Senate President Akpabio, hinted that Anambra governor Soludo may join APC, and expressed confidence in Tinubu’s second-term prospects.
He said: “APC is strong in Abia. Like I said in my interview, I am ready to lay down my life for the party…”
According to Kalu, they are using terrorism as tools to fight President Bola Tinubu just like they did during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
“When I put a lot of money at the time, by then, dollar was big money. Dollar was $84. I gave President Olusegun Obasanjo over $1 million. I gave the party (PDP) over N500 million to start the party. “
