Their appearance comes days after efforts to resolve the lingering political crisis in the state.

The closed-door meeting marked the first time Governor Fubara was seen with President Tinubu since the March 18 declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers.

Fubara visited the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory at his Abuja residence on Monday, though details of their discussion remain undisclosed.
