Bobrisky, the social media celebrity, has threatened a N1 billion lawsuit against activist VeryDarkMan for alleged defamation.

The crossdresser took to her Instagram page on Sunday to share a copy of the letter.

In the document dated September 27, Bobrisky alleged that VeryDarkMan shared a recording allegedly generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to defame and damage her reputation.

The counsel to the crossdresser also gave the activist a 24-hour ultimatum to retract his statements and apologize or face legal action.

Her ordeal started on Tuesday after VeryDarkMan, born Martins Otse, shared a purported audio recording online wherein she claimed she bribed some Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15,000,000 to drop the charges against her.

Bobrisky, whose birth name is Idris Okuneye, was released from prison on August 5 after she was sentenced to six months on April 12 for abusing the naira.

Reacting, the self-proclaimed transgender described the viral recording as “fake”. She argued that she did not pay any amount to the anti-graft agency.

Bobrisky’s denial came after the anti-graft agency invited her and VeryDarkMan over bribery allegations against its officials.

Ola Olukoyede, the EFCC chairman, also ordered an immediate investigation into the allegations.

Bobrisky earlier disclosed she was contemplating suicide.

The federal government also suspended two officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) over bribery allegations involving the transgender.
