esterday, the Internet was ablaze after thousands of emails of Dr. Anthony Fauci were published online. The emails, which spanned from January to June 2020, were first obtained by The Washington Post and BuzzFeed News through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
As we reported yesterday, the emails contain new information about the nature and the origin of the coronavirus that has never been shared with the public. The emails also reveal Dr. Fauci’s correspondence with researchers, business leaders, and other public figures.
Now, new revelations emerge as people comb through hundreds of pages in the emails. One particularly email of interest is an exchange between Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Dr. Fauci.
On March 15, 2020, Zuckerberg wrote Dr. Fauci thanking him for his leadership and sharing the “Coronavirus Information Hub” that was not yet public at the time. Zuckerberg also offers to help but the details were not clear. However, the fifth paragraph was redacted.
However, the redaction in Zuckerberg’s email of March 15, 2020, may have to do with “trade secrets.” Below is a screenshot of (b) (4) is:
Two days later, on March 17, 2020, Dr. Fauci sent the email below to the members of his team telling them, “I’m interested in doing this.”
