The girl’s father believes the bullying and subsequent public humiliation inflicted by the viral videos led to his daughter’s suicide

14-year-old Adriana Kuch took her own life last year after she was violently bullied at her New Jersey school and viral video of the bullying made its way online.
Now her family is suing Central Regional High School alleging that administrators there knew it contained a “culture of violence” that they failed to protect Adriana from, WNBC reports. The family also claims the school failed to stop Adriana’s bullies from posting the video they recorded of the attack online.
Adriana’s father, Michael Kuch, believes the bullying and subsequent public humiliation inflicted by the viral videos led to his daughter’s suicide. Adriana died by suicide on February 3, 2023, just two days after the bullying incident. He filed his lawsuit on Monday, which seeks unspecified punitive damages.
