Is Harris campaign holding events in college venues to create the illusion of widespread support?

Virtually every Kamala Harris event will be at a college or university. Watch!

When constructing the astroturf the venue selection is important. No one will randomly show up, so a captive audience is needed. Colleges and Universities provide the optics of crowd support.

The second element in astroturf is to use entertainers, singers, musicians etc as the “hook” to bring the crowd. Again, this approach manufacturers the optics of support.

The campaign doesn’t spend as much money on the college and university venues as their alumni can finance the costs, and/or the ideological tribes cover it.

The bottom line is that almost all of the Harris/Walz rallies will be at colleges and universities.

Watch it and you will see.

There does appear to be a pattern by the Kamala Harris campaign of selecting colleges and universities for campaign rallies, as evidenced by recent events at Temple University and the Thomas & Mack Center at University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

These venues provide a built-in audience and help create the appearance of a large and enthusiastic crowd. The use of entertainers and musicians can also draw in attendees and contribute to the overall energy and atmosphere of the event.

From a financial standpoint, utilizing colleges and universities for campaign events can be advantageous, as alumni and other affiliated organizations may help cover the costs.

So holding her campaign events at colleges and universities, raises questions about the strategic intent behind the venue selection. The choice of these venues clearly aims to create the appearance of broad support, leveraging captive audiences and alumni funding. Additionally, the use of entertainers and musicians is intended to attract larger crowds and enhance the perception of enthusiasm.

Exit question: is this a genius strategy or an obvious deception?
