Angry US women are threatening to go on “sex strike” in protest at Donald Trump ’s election victory.
Thousands are vowing to join a radical feminist movement that originated in South Korea called the Four Nos – a ban on dating, marriage, sex and childbirth.
They claim marriage perpetuates gender inequality and erodes women’s rights. Interest has spiked in response to the male majority that voted for the orange manbaby.
Trump has celebrated the Supreme Court’s June 2022 decision to overturn Roe v Wade – which ended abortion rights – throughout his 2024 campaign.
Supporters of Trump’s defeated Democratic rival Kamala Harris have now spearheaded the promotion of the movement as her campaign was focused on women’s rights.
One wrote on X: “American women, looks like it’s time to get influenced by Korea’s 4B movement.”
Another posted: “The 4B movement is gaining momentum in the US, women are declaring a sex strike nationwide.
“We also encourage you all to ghost MAGA men and encourage those around you to cease direct communication with them.”
South Korea has the lowest birth rate in the world, which many attribute to 4B – so-called because “B” is shorthand for “no” in Korea.
Shortly after Trump’s win, the US saw a 450% spike in Google searches for the 4B movement.
Michaela Thomas, a 21-year-old artist who lives in Georgia, said 4B is a way to “show people that actions have consequences.”
She said: “Young men expect sex, but they also want us to not be able to have access to abortion. They can’t have both.
“Young women don’t want to be intimate with men who don’t fight for women’s rights; it’s showing they don’t respect us.”
