Rep. Chip Roy says Mike Johnson does NOT have the votes to retain the gavel on Friday. Republican Reps. Harris, Biggs, and Spartz are currently withholding their support, and Thomas Massie has said he’s voting for someone else altogether Johnson can only afford to lose ONE VOTE.

So as it stands now, Speaker Johnson lacks the support of five Republican representatives, including:

– Andy Harris

– Andy Biggs

– Victoria Spartz

– Chip Roy

– Thomas Massie
