Canadian Television reports on the Nigerian family facing deportation from Canada after 8 years due to alleged use of fake admission letter. WATCH

After 8 years in Canada, a Nigerian student, her husband, and child have been asked to leave Canada. IRCC has determined that one of the documents she’d used to enter Canada in 2016 was a fake.

She claimed she got the fake letter through an agent in Lagos, Nigeria.

– The agent in Lagos gave Lola an admission into the University of Regina in Saskatchewan Canada and used that to get her a Visa. Back in the days, IRCC’s admission verification was not as advanced as it is now.

– When Lola arrived in Canada in December 2016 to start her program in January 2017, Lola claimed the agent called him to say University of Regina has put her on a wait list and won’t be able to start her program.

– Lola claimed she didn’t contact University of Regina herself and looked for another admission at Nova Scotia Community College. – Lola completed her program at Nova Scotia Community College, but was later contacted by IRCC about the fake admission letter into University of Regina.

– Lola, her husband, and one of her child who wasn’t born in Canada have been asked to leave Canada.
