Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday led a Federal Government delegation to Katsina State to offer condolences to Governor Dikko Radda following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Sarafa’u, who died last Saturday at the age of 93.

During the visit, Vice President Shettima conveyed the condolences of President Bola Tinubu, stating that he was in the state on behalf of the President to sympathize with the governor and the people of Katsina over their loss. He described the late Hajiya Sarafa’u as a woman who lived a life worthy of emulation and noted that while death is an inevitable reality for all, reaching the age of 93 is a life to be celebrated.

Shettima assured the governor that the Federal Government shares in his grief and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul. He expressed hope that Allah would grant her Aljannah Firdaus and give the family, the government, and the people of Katsina the strength to bear the loss.
