New Tower of Babel to be built in Kentucky to combat racism and Critical Race Theory

AIG noted that despite claiming to advocate pluralism, secular society is, in fact, indoctrinating racism in the educational system:

Answers in Genesis (AIG), a fundamentalist young-Earth creationist Christian organization, announced plans to build a replica of the Tower of Babel in order to combat racism that is becoming a banner cause of the left-wing. Even though the method may seem unconventional, the Bible-based reasoning behind the project blaming the theory of evolution for racism is convincing.

CREATIONISM AS ANTI-RACISM

The organization has already built a replica of Noah’s Ark according to the Biblical dimensions as the centerpiece for a Bible-themed amusement park in Kentucky. AIG recently released a statement on its website explaining its reasons. AIG admitted the incongruity of a Bible-oriented organization recreating a Biblical structure whose construction was, in fact, considered a grave sin as it was built for the glorification of the builders and as an act of rebellion against the Creator. According to AIG, the original Tower of Babel, which remained unfinished, was built in 2242 BCE. They emphasized that their intent was to create a “constant reminder of both God’s mercy and judgment.”

AIG explained that the tower replica would combat racism whose source, they claim, is in the perpetuation of the theory of evolution:

“…Our culture has been inundated by false views of our origins, teaching that we evolved from ape-like ancestors. While most evolutionists are probably not racists, the philosophy they hold is inherently racist, implying that some people groups are more closely related to apes than others. For example, the late Stephen Jay Gould, a leading evolutionist of the 20th century, acknowledged that acceptance of evolution spurred the rapid growth of racism:”

“By eliminating our true history, evolutionists are left with a false view of humanity. Thus, they explain the so-called racial differences through the lens of a fundamentally racist philosophy.”

“The Bible provides us with the true history of humanity. What people classify today as racial differences are rightly explained by the Babel event. Noah’s descendants scattered from Babel in family groups and settled new lands. Separated from one another, the various groups began to express distinct traits. No group is more ‘evolved’ than any other. Some people may have achieved greater advancements in agriculture, industry, or technology due to having a greater number of skilled tradespeople when the language division occurred, but this does not mean they are ‘more human’ than others. Instead, all people today descended from Noah and are members of the one human race.”

AIG noted that despite claiming to advocate pluralism, secular society is, in fact, indoctrinating racism in the educational system:

“Education systems and politicians throughout Western nations have incited and encouraged division by promoting racist concepts like critical race theory (CRT). A large part of CRT is the ungodly idea that we must instruct people to see and judge people based on the melanin level in their skin, which is the opposite of what Scripture teaches. All people are descendants of Adam, and we are all made in God’s image. Our true problem is sin, which includes prejudice and racism…Ironically, critical race theory is also the exact opposite of Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream that people would be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.”

CRITICAL RACE THEORY: ANTI-RACISM OR ACTUAL RACISM?

CRT and its introduction into the educational system have become a hot-button political issue that was considered to be an important issue in recent elections. Its proponents claim it is an examination of the intersection of race and law in the United States and to challenge mainstream American approaches to racial justice. A major tenet of CRT is that racism and disparate racial outcomes may not be the result of individual racism but are the result of racism being inherent in the social constructs.

Critics of CRT say that it is destructive and divisive, actually increasing racial division. CRT’s principle “theorist,” Ibram X. Kendi, is clear on this point: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is anti-racist discrimination,” Kendi wrote. “The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”

Douglas P. Seaton, the Founder and President of Upper Midwest Law Center, wrote an article critical of CRT, saying, “It is itself a racist creed, derived from the Marxist class conflict model, which seeks to pit Black against white and each against all. It is identity politics gone rogue, dividing Americans based on race and national origin and caricaturing American history like a Soviet-era cartoon.”

RABBI HUNDERT: BIBLE IS ANTI-RACISM

Rabbi Dr. Leibush Hundert, the head of Simchat Shlomo Yeshiva in Jerusalem, explained that in its essence, racism is fear of the unknown and the strange, which science does not address.

“It is true that racism is anti-Bible,” Rabbi Hundert said. “The Sages that we all come from one person so that no one can say they come from better stock. It teaches us that we are all related to each other.”

“The absolutism of the Torah is essential in this regard,” Rabbi Hundert said. He cited a study in which people were asked if they had to choose between saving their family pet from drowning or a total stranger, which would they choose. The majority of people chose to save the family pet.

“This is a sobering and sad statement of the human condition,” Rabbi Hundert said. “We need…
