King Charles mocked for ‘reading off cue cards’ to say two words during Coronation

King Charles III’s has found his Coronation undermined by some mocking comments about his need to read from a cue card to say just two words.

The King of England’s declaration was declared an “ick” by one Twitter user who found Charles’ reliance on the cue cards featured in his Coronation an embarrassing moment for the Monarch.

One user even suggested the day so far had been “a bit raggedy” as dozens of comments poured in regarding the king’s reliance on notes written down on cue cards.

The king read off “I will” after squinting at a card held for him by one of many moving parts in a massive Coronation process.

One user was worried the Coronation gaffe revealed the future for the family, writing: “Only King Charles could wait all these years to become King and still have to read off a f***ing cue card, oh the future is bright.”
