Tesla Motors boss and owner of X, Elon Musk, has said that X will be donating all revenue from advertising and subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza to hospitals in Gaza and Israel.
He disclosed this in a post on his X handle saying:
“X Corp will be donating all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza to hospitals in Israel and the Red Cross/Crescent in Gaza,” adding that the funds would be tracked and would go through Red Cross/Crescent.
“We will track how funds are spent and go through Red Cross/Crescent. Better ideas are welcome. We should care about the innocent regardless of race, creed, religion or anything else.”
This comes after he (Elon) was accused of promoting anti-semitism comments after replying to a post.
The post, which was in response to another video post showing a man talking to his son about his online activity of pushing hatred while hiding behind his screen, reads:
“Okay, Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.
“I’m deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don’t exactly like them too much.
You want truth said to your face, there it is.” Replying, Elon Musk wrote: “You have said the actual truth”
