A plane with 62 passengers onboard has crashed in Vinhedo, a city in São Paulo state, Brazil.
The aircraft, an ATR-72 operated by Voepass Linhas Aéreas, was flying from Cascavel in Paraná to Guarulhos in São Paulo when it went down, as reported by local news outlet G1.
Footage shared on social media seemingly captured the plane nose-diving toward the ground, vanishing behind a group of trees before a thick cloud of black smoke rose into the sky.
