The Dangote refinery has informed marketers and its customers of a downward review of its ex-gantry loading cost to N865 per litre.

The new price is a reduction of N15 from N880 per litre sold by the facility on Wednesday.

The Dangote Refinery has reduced its ex-gantry petrol loading cost from N880 to N865 per litre, as exclusively predicted by The PUNCH. A Thursday morning notice to customers and a Pro forma invoice confirmed the N15 reduction, with further verification on petroleumprice.ng. Marketers had earlier anticipated the price drop, which aligns with efforts to lower fuel costs nationwide.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Chinedu Ukadike, affirmed the development while discussing the Federal Executive Council’s directive on the naira-for-crude deal. On Wednesday, the FEC ordered full implementation of the suspended agreement with local refiners, signaling potential further price adjustments in the fuel market.
