Kizz Daniel, the award-winning Afrobeats superstar, has officially kicked off his upcoming album with the release of his highly anticipated single “Police.” The track features six-time Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo and rising artist Johnny Drille. Christian Agadibe, Chief Executive Officer of Artmatazz Media, shared details about the new release with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Friday.
Agadibe described “Police” as an upbeat track that sets the tone for Kizz Daniel’s next musical era, showcasing infectious melodies, smooth rhythms, and exceptional storytelling. “Together, they crafted a sound that blends modern Afrobeat, soul, and global influences into something truly infectious and easy to connect with,” he said.
The song humorously depicts a couple with conflicting schedules, showcasing Kizz Daniel’s signature flair and Kidjo’s Grammy-winning brilliance. “With witty lyrics and an engaging melody, the track offers a fresh perspective on love,” Agadibe noted.
Since his debut in 2014 with “Woju,” Kizz Daniel has established himself as a leading figure in Afrobeats, with over four billion streams and multiple critically acclaimed projects. “Police” is now available for streaming on all major digital platforms.
