Veteran rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has alleged that a man claiming to be a senator offered him N200 million to sustain his criticism of the current administration. In a viral social media video, Abdulkareem revealed the caller claimed to be in a meeting with Seyi Tinubu and other officials before making the offer. *”They are going to call you and bribe you, don’t listen to them, we are going to be sponsoring you underground,”* the musician quoted the caller.  

Abdulkareem, known for his activism and recent song *’Tell Your Papa’*, rejected the purported bribe, questioning the caller’s motives. *”After claiming to be a honourable…he claimed to be a senator,”* he recounted, dismissing the offer as unethical. The artist maintained his independence, stating he never solicited such support, reinforcing his stance against political manipulation in his craft.
