Hashem Abedi, the convicted terrorist behind the Manchester Arena bombing, has allegedly attacked three prison guards in a violent incident at HMP Frankland. According to reports, Abedi stabbed the officers and threw hot oil over them during the assault, which left all three victims injured.

The attack reportedly occurred in a high-security wing of the prison where Abedi, serving a life sentence for his role in the 2017 bombing that killed 22 people, is being held. One officer was said to have suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Prison authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, and security measures at the facility have been reinforced. A Prison Service spokesperson said, “Staff are being supported and the incident will be fully investigated.”
