Leaders of the Yoruba Nation movement will gather in London on April 26, 2025, for a major summit aimed at advancing their secession agenda. Themed “What Next?”, the event will take place at Ark Studio, Ark Walworth Academy, from 11am to 5pm, under the Yoruba Self-Determination Movement (YSDM). According to a flyer, the summit will address “insecurity in Yoruba homeland, upcoming mass rallies, and action plans for exiting the Nigeria contraption.”
Expected attendees include Prof. Banji Akintoye, Chief Dr. Sunday Igboho, David Malomo, Kayode Emola, Arakurin Seyi Olayode, and Arch. George Akinola.
In October 2024, Igboho submitted a petition to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, urging his intervention in support of Yoruba self-determination.
