Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has challenged national leaders to prioritize solving Nigeria’s systemic problems rather than catering to select interests. During a Channels TV Politics Today interview on Tuesday, Makinde questioned: “Are we just playing stunt politics or focusing on solving problems? Have we reduced hunger?” emphasizing governance must benefit all citizens.
Makinde stressed leaders must assess if policies genuinely improve lives nationwide, stating: “Are you able to make lives better across the country, not just for a gang in Lagos?” His remarks highlight growing concerns about regional favoritism in national development agendas.
