Arsène Wenger distances himself from FIFA Investment proposal

Arsène Wenger has backed FIFA’s decision to abandon Gianni Infantino’s Forward Enterprise proposal, describing the withdrawal as “absolutely necessary and beyond question.” The former Arsenal manager, now FIFA’s chief of global football development, said he was not involved in the plan and only learned of it through media reports.
