ICPC hands Tinubu report on PFIPC, seeks Adeyemi’s prosecution
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has submitted an interim report to President Bola Tinubu on its investigation into the disputed Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), recommending the prosecution of its self-styled Director-General, Adeniyi Adeyemi.
According to Daily Post Nigeria, ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu disclosed this after a meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, 30 days after the president ordered the probe. Preliminary findings showed Adeyemi was never appointed by the Federal Government and that the agency’s appointment letter and gazette were forged.
