Marmoush scores twice as Man City fight back to beat Atletico Madrid
Omar Marmoush scored twice in three minutes as Manchester City came from behind to beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 in their final pre-season friendly in Seoul on Sunday. According to Al Jazeera, Atletico took the lead through Jorge Dominguez after City failed to clear a corner before Marmoush turned the game around.
The Egyptian equalised in the 57th minute after Antoine Semenyo delivered a cross, then struck again two minutes later from another Semenyo assist. Rayan Ait-Nouri completed City’s comeback in the 90th minute. The result gives Enzo Maresca’s side confidence ahead of next Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Arsenal at Wembley.
