Adeleke to IGP: Arrest, prosecute Fadahunsi over alleged killing threat
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has demanded the arrest and prosecution of Senator Francis Fadahunsi over an alleged threat to kill members of the Accord Party, according to Vanguard.
Speaking in Osogbo on Tuesday, Adeleke alleged a viral video showed Fadahunsi urging APC supporters to target Accord Party leaders, supporters and even their family members. The governor described the incident as a national security threat, calling for the involvement of the National Security Adviser.
He also accused the Intelligence Response Team of illegally arresting Accord Party leaders and urged the IGP to ensure fair, lawful policing ahead of Saturday’s election.
