Oyebamiji: What Osun people told me about ‘dancing governor’ Adeleke in 21 LGs I visited
APC governorship candidate Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji has claimed that residents across all 21 local government areas of Osun State he visited during his campaign expressed readiness to remove Governor Ademola Adeleke from office, dismissing suggestions that he was relying on federal influence to win Saturday’s election.
Speaking at the Arise TV Osun Governorship Town Hall in Osogbo on Tuesday, as reported by PM News, Oyebamiji said: “Everybody said that they were ready to dislodge this government that is doing nothing and ready to enthrone good governance. It’s not by any national power, not by federal might. It is by the people.”
The former National Inland Waterways MD said he had received endorsements from 42 sectors and groups in two weeks, citing NURTW, market associations, civil servants and community leaders. His manifesto priorities include food security, education and healthcare, which he described as being “in shambles” under Adeleke.
