Umahi: Tinubu has turned Nigeria into construction site with big projects
Minister of Works, David Umahi, has said President Bola Tinubu has turned Nigerian states into construction sites through massive infrastructure projects, according to The Nation.
Speaking during an inspection of the Calabar–Ebonyi–Benue–Kogi–Nasarawa–Abuja Superhighway, Umahi said the project would boost security, commerce and economic activities while ending the Southeast’s marginalisation.
He urged journalists to highlight the projects’ impact rather than negative narratives. The 125.5km section inspected includes planned flyovers and dual carriageways. Umahi described his appointment as part of Tinubu’s push for inclusive governance and Southeast development.
