Adeleke camp raises alarm over alleged INEC plot to declare poll inconclusive
The Imole Campaign Council of Senator Ademola Adeleke has alleged a plot by INEC to declare Saturday’s Osun governorship election inconclusive, according to Sahara Reporters.
In a statement signed by Rep. Bamidele Salam, the campaign accused APC governors and leaders of coordinating the scheme to frustrate Adeleke’s “imminent victory,” describing it as a “sinister plan.”
It called on security agencies to deploy personnel to collation centres to prevent alleged APC-hired thugs from disrupting the process, noting ballot boxes had already been hijacked at some polling units, and urged observers to monitor developments closely.
