Newcastle hand Man United major blow with Lewis Hall contract decision
Newcastle United have dealt Manchester United a major blow by agreeing a new five-year contract with Lewis Hall that reportedly contains no release clause. According to Coming Home Newcastle, citing Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope, Newcastle rejected United’s interest in the England international throughout the summer before securing improved terms and a two-year extension.
The absence of a release clause means United would have to negotiate directly with Newcastle if they revive their pursuit next summer. Hall, 22, joined Newcastle from Chelsea for £35 million in 2023 and has since made 102 appearances, scoring three goals. He also has four England caps.
