Barcelona identify Harry Kane and Erling Haaland as striker alternatives
Barcelona are reportedly preparing ambitious alternatives in their search for a new striker, with Harry Kane and Erling Haaland emerging as potential targets if Julian Alvarez remains unavailable. According to Barca News Network, Barcelona remain interested in Alvarez despite failing to sign the Atletico Madrid forward during the summer window.
Kane is viewed as the more attainable option, with the club monitoring his situation at Bayern Munich amid uncertainty over a potential contract extension. Barcelona also retain a long-standing interest in Haaland, although Manchester City are not expected to make negotiations easy.
The report claims sporting director Deco could explore the Norwegian’s situation if Kane becomes unavailable. Barcelona are believed to prefer making their move in January, with the temporary closure of Spotify Camp Nou expected to affect the club’s finances next summer.
