Enugu politician killed at home
Popular Enugu State politician Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, widely known as “Okanga Moo,” has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen inside his residence at Odenigbo in Nsukka Local Government Area on Thursday evening.
According to social media reports and a Facebook post by influencer Sen. Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, as reported by Daily Post, the attackers used a knife to kill the politician in what appears to have been a targeted assault at his home.
“Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, aka ‘Okanga Mo’, was killed yesterday evening by unknown gunmen in Nsukka, right in his residence at Odenigbo. He was brutally cut into pieces,” Ugwuanyi wrote.
The circumstances surrounding the attack, including the identities and motives of the perpetrators, remained unclear at the time of filing this report.
The Enugu State Police Command had not issued any official statement confirming or providing details on the incident as of press time, and further details are expected as investigations unfold.
