Thierno Barry strikes as Everton edge 10-man Ipswich to move fifth
Thierno Barry scored the only goal as Everton secured a 1-0 victory over 10-man Ipswich Town to move fifth in the Premier League. According to BBC Sport, Barry converted James Tarkowski’s long-range effort in the 11th minute, taking his tally to five goals this season.
Ipswich created several opportunities, but Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford produced important saves to preserve the lead. The visitors’ task became harder when Abdul Fatawu was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 67th minute. Everton remain unbeaten after five league matches, collecting nine points from two wins and three draws.
