Pascal Gross announces Germany retirement after Arsenal masterclass

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross has announced his retirement from international football with Germany following his impressive performance in the Seagulls’ 3-0 Premier League victory over Arsenal. According to GOAL, the 35-year-old had already decided to end his Germany career after the 2026 World Cup but had not publicly confirmed his decision.

Gross scored Brighton’s opening goal and provided an assist against the defending champions. He said he believes it is time for a new generation to take responsibility under new Germany manager Jurgen Klopp. Gross made his Germany debut in 2023 and earned 10 international caps.
