Iran warns Gulf states after US, Israel and Arab military chiefs meet in Germany

Regional military commanders met with the United States and Israel in Germany to discuss the Iran war as the region prepares for the possibility of another major military confrontation with the Islamic Republic.

The private meeting was organized by CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper and brought together senior commanders from the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt.

The discussions reportedly included the ongoing Iran war, Israeli military operations, regional security cooperation and plans to expand protected commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The timing is significant.

President Trump said days later that he is approaching a major decision over whether to restart large-scale U.S. military attacks against the Islamic Republic.

Now Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters is warning Persian Gulf countries that it believes another American attack could be coming.

It threatened sustained strikes against U.S. bases and interests across the region and warned regional countries that assisting another U.S. attack could cause Iran to treat them as participants in the conflict.

The Germany meeting is confirmed. There is no confirmation that the countries meeting there approved another U.S. offensive, despite the Islamic Republic claiming some regional governments have given the United States a “green light.”

But with Trump openly considering renewed large-scale military action and commanders from the United States, Israel and major Arab states coordinating behind closed doors, the possibility of another major escalation is clearly on the table.

Trump said he’s deciding whether to launch a catastrophic military attack on Iran, telling Fox News’s Trey Yingst in a phone interview: “My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave.” The remark followed his sudden return Saturday to the White House from Camp David, which cut short a weekend getaway, and he said he’s in “deciding mode” on Iran, with “very big things [to happen] in the not too distant future.” He’s under increasing pressure to end the Iran war, now in its eighth month.
