Ukraine used its domestically produced Flamingo cruise missile in a large-scale overnight attack on Moscow and a major Russian oil refinery, the New York Post reported. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the operation hit a key oil facility and a logistics site in the Moscow region.

The assault involved more than 1,000 drones alongside several Ukrainian-made weapons, including the Flamingo. Russian authorities reported damage at the Moscow Oil Refinery and casualties across the region.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin described it as the largest drone attack on the capital since the war began. Russian officials also alleged the operation was intended to disrupt ongoing parliamentary elections.
