Adidas set to re-release Nigeria’s iconic 1994 World Cup kit

Adidas is reportedly preparing to re-release Nigeria’s iconic 1994 kit, according to Footy Headlines. The retro collection could include the famous green home shirt, the patterned white away jersey, or both designs.The potential release comes as the Nigeria Football Federation prepares to reunite with Adidas after more than a decade with Nike.

The original shirts were worn during Nigeria’s 1994 FIFA World Cup debut in the United States, where the Super Eagles reached the round of 16, and their Africa Cup of Nations triumph earlier that year.The 1994 home shirt featured a green base, white shoulder details and a distinctive black-and-green geometric pattern, while the away design carried the pattern across a predominantly white shirt.
