Kai Havertz set to return to Arsenal after suspected hamstring injury

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz is set to leave Germany’s international camp and undergo a scan after suffering a suspected hamstring injury during Thursday’s 1-1 Nations League draw with the Netherlands. According to The Athletic, the 27-year-old pulled up during the first half and was unable to continue.

Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp said Havertz and Jamal Musiala, who suffered a thigh problem before kick-off, were likely to miss the remainder of the international break. However, there is optimism that Havertz’s injury is not serious. The forward has started all five of Arsenal’s Premier League matches this season, scoring twice.
