Roy Keane tells Manchester City to ‘take their medicine’ after guilty verdict

Roy Keane has called on Manchester City to “take their medicine” after the club were found guilty of the vast majority of their 115 Premier League charges. Speaking on ITV, Keane rejected Rodri’s recent comments and said City had “chose[n] to cheat”, arguing they should face punishment for their alleged financial breaches.

According to GOAL, former Arsenal midfielder Ian Wright also argued that rival clubs and players may have missed out because of City’s conduct. City, however, continue to deny wrongdoing and are preparing an appeal.

Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak told supporters that the club remains confident it can prove its innocence. Potential sanctions could include title-related penalties, while rival clubs are also considering compensation claims.
