UEFA will not investigate alleged racist abuse aimed at Adam Idah

UEFA will not investigate an alleged racist incident involving Republic of Ireland striker Adam Idah during the Nations League victory over Israel. According to RTÉ, Jayson Molumby alerted the referee and fourth official to alleged monkey chants from supporters during Sunday’s match in Debrecen.

However, UEFA reportedly said the incident was not explicitly identified as racism to the match officials, while the officials themselves did not hear the alleged chanting. As the incident was not officially reported as racist conduct during the game, UEFA’s protocols prevent disciplinary action from being taken. Ireland won the match 3-0.
