Roberto Mancini breaks silence on alleged double Manchester City contract

Roberto Mancini has dismissed questions over an alleged double contract during his time as Manchester City manager, insisting the matter is “their issue, not mine”. According to The Telegraph, Mancini was responding after City were found guilty of all but one of the 115 charges brought against them by the Premier League.

The former City boss allegedly received a £1.75 million consultancy payment in addition to his £1.45 million salary. Mancini, who managed City from 2009 to 2013, said the allegations were nothing new and that he had no concern over the club’s financial arrangements.
