Lamine Yamal shines as Spain thrash Croatia 4-1 in UEFA Nations League

Lamine Yamal produced a brilliant performance as Spain defeated Croatia 4-1 in Seville to maintain their perfect start to the Nations League campaign. According to Barca Blaugranes, the Barcelona teenager scored twice and provided an assist as the world champions dominated the contest.

Yamal opened the scoring after just 75 seconds with a curling finish before Marc Pubill restored Spain’s lead after Dion Beljo had equalised for Croatia. The teenager added his second following a superb assist from Pedri before being substituted to a standing ovation. Nico Williams completed Spain’s victory with a late fourth goal as Luis de la Fuente’s side continued their impressive unbeaten run.
