Klopp Dismisses claims Germany team is “Not White Enough” as complete nonsense

Jurgen Klopp has dismissed claims that Germany’s national team is “not white enough” as “complete nonsense” ahead of Thursday’s Nations League clash with Serbia. According to The Athletic, Klopp was responding to social media criticism from politicians linked to Germany’s far-right AfD party over the composition of his squad.

Klopp said there was “absolutely no reason” to pay attention to such comments and criticised what he described as “idiocy” on social media. The Germany coach has promoted unity since taking charge in July, previously wearing a cap reading “One of 83 million” as part of his message about national identity and inclusion.
