Luis de la Fuente refuses to judge Cristiano Ronaldo–Portugal dispute
Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente has declined to say how he would have handled Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest dispute with Portugal manager Jorge Jesus, stressing that he would first need to know exactly what happened. Speaking ahead of Spain’s UEFA Nations League match against Czechia, De la Fuente said every situation was different and should be treated according to its circumstances.
According to Daily Post Nigeria, his comments come after Ronaldo left Portugal’s camp following a disagreement over his playing time during the international break. The 41-year-old was an unused substitute in the 4-2 defeat of Denmark, his first Portugal match without an appearance since 2008.
