England thrash Croatia 7-0 in Nations League
England produced a dominant display to thrash Croatia 7-0 in the Nations League on Saturday, with Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scoring twice each.
According to France 24, Thomas Tuchel’s side recorded their biggest victory of his tenure and their second win in three group matches.
Kane opened the scoring after eight minutes before Jude Bellingham doubled England’s advantage in the 21st minute. Anthony Gordon headed home the third before Saka made it 4-0 shortly before half-time.
England continued their dominance after the break, with Kane converting Elliot Anderson’s cross in the 53rd minute to take his international record to 89 goals.
Saka added England’s sixth in the 68th minute before substitute Morgan Rogers completed the rout in the 87th minute.
England are chasing a top-two finish and a place in the Nations League quarter-finals. They conclude the international break against Czech Republic at Wembley on Tuesday.
