CAF confirms December 7 date for 2026 Awards in Lagos
Lagos has been confirmed as the host city for the 2026 CAF Awards, with the prestigious ceremony scheduled for December 7. The event will take place at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre in Iganmu.
According to Daily Post Nigeria, the ceremony will honour outstanding players, coaches and administrators across African football.
The occasion will mark the fourth time Lagos has staged the CAF Awards, following previous editions in 2008, 2013 and 2014. Nigeria will also host the CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Abuja on November 21 at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
